The Legislative Committee is tasked with promoting the business interests of the region as they correspond to the legislative process. This is an active committee. The group hosts both a pre and wrap-up legislative breakfast with elected officials and meets weekly on Wednesdays in the Chamber Boardroom during the Legislative Session to review all business-related bills. The committee meets monthly during the remainder of the year as needed. Special interests are heard in this committee, which coordinates with the Maryland State Chamber of Commerce to lend a voice for Allegany County.
